Tip# 3 – Which Kitchen Cupboard To Choose
As we mentioned previously, the best place to keep your tea is in a dark, dry cupboard, but there is an extra step to keep in mind: pick a cupboard that isn't directly above the oven, or that isn't also housing your spices! The oven is the source of large amounts of boiling water will lead to steam and various cooking smells may leech into your tea, both of which may ruin your tea. Your spices also have strong, pervasive smells, and can influence the flavours of your tea too. As always, air-tight containers will reduce the chance of this happening, but it's best not to take chances and to keep your tea in a safe, separate space.
